Whether you are new to dyeing fiber entirely or are versed in hand-painting yarns and fiber, this class by Pam Brown on the Redding Dye Method is sure to add to your skill set.

By learning how to Kettle Dye A Rainbow you will gain the foundation needed to dye fiber with several colors at once in the same pot, without creating muddy color. You will even add several fiber types to the same dyebath simultaniously!

Pam Brown, owner and dyeworks artist at Twightlight Tango Alpacas is a certified Redding Dye Method instructor from Washington, wool farmer, and life-learner, attending major shows and classes at Vogue Knitting and more. 

FEE: $72 covers one POUND of fiber for dyeing, all dyes needed and access to tools, and instruction. 

CLASS TIME: Mon., May 29, 10am-2pm

SKILL LEVEL: No prior experience with dyes necessary. Ages 18+ welcome.

STUDENTS SUPPLY: A healthy dose of humor and desire to learn how to dye random and repeatable colorways.

LOCATION: The Belle Events Center, 120 13th Ave.NampaID 83651, 1/2 Block from FiberTrain Festival. Enjoy 13 local restaurants, a coffee house, and tea bar within 2 blocks, and free parking.

Class fees can not be refunded or transferred after May 8, 2017. 10% of your class fee is non-refundable after purchase, and will be retained by FiberTrain Festival to cover processing fees.

Classes booked on a first-come-first-serve basis. Transfers and refunds will be approved on an individual basis by contacting FiberTrain Festival staff at Please allow 48 hours to receive a response to your contact. Class fees that qualify for a refund after approval will be refunded on or before June 15, 2017, and may take up to 14 days to be viewable on your bank statement. 

Due to limited space at FiberTrain Festival, fees paid toward classes, registrations, and services, are exclusive to FiberTrain Festival and may not be refunded or transferred as credit toward purchases or registrations at other events sponsored by Puffy Mondaes Maker Space. Fees paid are not transferrable to following FiberTrain Festivals registrations, goods, or purchases of any kind.
