Learn to spin lovely cotton yarns on the uncommon Tahkli spindle with Jennifer Green of Desert Garden Farms! You will be introduced to spinning and drafting techniques for cotton fiber, appropriate preparation, winding on, and finishing for cotton yarns. You'll leave with your own first cotton fibers and a copper
FEE: $50 includes all instruction, cotton, and brass Indian style Tahkli with wooden spindle bowl to take home. No addional materials required.
SKILL LEVEL: Advancing beginner/intermediate hand spinners welcome, must have a basic idea of how to drop spin and draft wool fibers before tackling the Tahkli and cotton spinning methods.
STUDENTS SUPPLY: A willingness to learn and a sense of humor. No other materials needed.
LOCATION: The Belle Events Center, 120 13th Ave.Nampa, ID 83651, 1/2 Block from FiberTrain Festival. Enjoy 13 local restaurants, a coffee house, and tea bar within 2 blocks, and free parking.

Class fees can not be refunded or transferred after May 3, 2015. 10% of your class fee is non-refundable after purchase, and will be retained by FiberTrain Festival to cover processing fees.
Classes booked on a first-come-first serve basis. Transfers and refunds will be approved on an individual basis by contacting FiberTrain Festival staff at email@example.com. Please allow 48 hours to receive a response to your contact. Class fees that qualify for a refund after approval will be refunded on or before June 8, 2015, and may take up to 14 days to be viewable on your bank statement.
Due to limited space at FiberTrain Festival, fees paid toward classes, registrations, and services, are exclusive to FiberTrain Festival 2015 and may not be refunded or transferred as credit toward purchases or registrations at other events sponsored by Puffy Mondaes Sustainable Arts. Fees paid are not transferrable to following FiberTrain Festivals registrations, goods, or purchases of any kind.
